The Emma Kettle was designed by the Danish duo Sebastian Holmbäck and Ulrik Nordentoft for the Stelton label. Elegantly conceived and engineered to last, this product brings the skills of master designers to bear on an everyday item with fantastic results.
Both graduates from the Danish Design School, Holmbäck and Nordentoft worked together between 2008 and 2015, creating distinctive kitchen products, from knives and cocktail shakers to carving forks and kettles. The Emma Kettle was one of their outstanding creations, taking an item that is often overlooked and adding true designer quality.
Stelton have a long history in producing kettles, including the iconic LS 900. It was a challenge to add to their impressive collection, but Holmbäck and Nordentoft succeeded. The Emma Kettle has a delicate shape, which resembles ceramic jugs more than mass-produced kettles. However, it retains the resilience of the best store-bought models thanks to its stainless steel barrel, while the curved beech handle provides protection against burns.
The kettle has plenty of capacity, measuring 26 x 20 x 25 cm and holding 1.2l of , while the double-walled container ensures that it feels cool to touch, even when the contents are boiling hot.
